Hey:) so today was definitely a lot of fun. We went to the water park on san antonio called schlitterbahn. Despite the heat and a few minor set backs (like me fainting and getting a nosebleed haha) it was vey enjoyable. And even though this week was popin I’m very ready to go home and see my friends and family. I’ve learned a lot about everyone and it went very smooth. I hope tomorrow will be the same way:)

Water we waiting for?
Today was a day of fun and play at Schlitterbahn waterpark. It was HOT!!! Today was probably the most sunny, heat-filled day of the trip (in my opinion). It was still quote fun though; I was able to see most of the good rides and was able to laugh and have fun with my new and old friends. I did get a little pink around the shoulders (just so you know mom. Because I know you’ve been wondering) but nothing as bad as Riley’s ruby red back *snicker*. I can not wait for tomorrow, though; I am completely worn down and am ready to get back to my family and my own bed (rather than sleeping bags on the cold hard floor). But all the aches and pains aside this has been an amazing and eye opening experience, just to see and help people of another culture. I am going to miss this place and all of my friends who I’ve grown closer to in the past 9 days, but I know that I’ll see them again and well talk and laugh about our time together (and the inside jokes *Haha* Ooo piece of candy!). Hope to see everyone back at home soon.

Sayonara!

Today we were at Schlitterbahn. This was the first water park I’ve ever been to. So far the trip’s been awesome! We’ve had a lot of fun and met some interesting people here in Texas. We’re staying at Concordia again tonight (oh joy sleeping bags on concrete again). Tommorow we pack up and we ship out for home. I’ve had a wonderful time and learned a little bit too, about God, about myself, about the other people in the youth group, and about the great state of Texas.

Hey readers, it’s Dana blogging from Schlitterbahn waterpark. We are all are having fun and making tons of memories. This mission trip has definitely been one of the best trips in my book. We all miss our families, but it is going to be a sad departure. We all have bonded and made so many new friends while serving our wonderful Lord. I know in my heart that I, or the people we have helped, will never forget this experience. My eyes, as well as a few others, were opened this week to how some people have to live life and I feel like at times we take the smallest things for granted. Thank you all of those who supported our fundraisers and helping us get here and serve others! -Dana
